Laura, sorry hon, I have no help for you. All I can do when Frances does this is laugh helplessly into my pillow. Sue: Radio Free Frances, you say.... Posted by: Andrea at February 9, 2006 2:49 PM
This story and the last one about the diapering made my day. Is there any sound sweeter than the one of your child singing? Posted by: Kristina at February 9, 2006 3:26 PM
It's the YAY! that had me snorfling. (snorfling is where you would have shot milk out your nose had you been drinking any.) Posted by: liz at February 9, 2006 9:48 PM
I just love "I sing it one more time." Reminds me of Grover in "Near and Far." Has she been listening to that? What a cutie! Posted by: Madeleine at February 10, 2006 2:48 PM
Liz: The 'yay' is my favourite too, it's so exuberant. She really yells it: YAY! And the rest of it is half-whispered, sot he YAY!s really stand out. Madeleine, I don't think so. I think the sneaky little girl has realized that we have a much harder time saying no to "one more time" than to "again," so now everything is "one more time," fifty times in a row. Singing to herself in her crib included. Posted by: Andrea at February 10, 2006 3:03 PM

Change is God (Octavia Butler, Parable Series) "In this world, there is nothing softer or thinner than water. But to compel the hard and unyielding, it has no equal. That the weak overcomes the strong, that the hard gives way to the gentle -- this everyone knows. Yet no one acts accordingly."
